Linea

The Linea Chair investigates how a 2D ribbon of material can be transformed into a 3D form, while also exploring the unique material possibilities of laminate. Made from bent steel powder-coated in a neon red-orange evoking taillights on the L.A. freeways, Linea is covered in walnut laminate, a nod to L.A.'s storied mid-century design heritage.

A winner in the 2012 Wilsonart Chair Competition. Exhibited at 1CFF 2012, NeoCon 2012 and “Against the Grain” at Propeller Modern (2012, San Francisco).
