Wobble Chair

Wobble Chair was created for Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, San Francisco's premier contemporary arts center. Staff interviews and site visits helped inform a design that would make the museum’s lobby a more engaging place for visitors to linger while embodying the museum’s boundary-pushing ethos. CNC-milled out of solid cork, Wobble serves as active seating, encouraging visitors to lean forward to have a conversation or lean back to relax.

Exhibited at YBCA's Bay Area Now 6 (2011) and San Francisco Design Week 2012.
